FERROUS METALS

In ferrous metal applications, Fiberstone® is used in transitional areas to protect or replace steel works – helping steel structures to maintain their shape. Its thermal shock properties mean it heats up and cools down like a metal; and unlike refractory, it will tolerate impact.

Made to order as pre–cast shapes, Fiberstone® can incorporate steelwork and fixings so it can be quickly installed by bolting it in place.
