With over 20 years of development, the production methods for Fiberstone precast pieces is highly specialised, requiring skill and precision, to ensure each piece meets the rigorous quality standards that sets Fiberstone apart from conventional refractories or steel structures.
Utilising state-of-the-art equipment, the Fiberstone manufacturing techniques showcases the high degree of craftsmanship required to deliver consistent high-quality precast pieces every batch.
A proprietary infiltration-based technique enables fibre volume fractions significantly higher than those achievable through conventional fibre-reinforced castable mixing. This is a result of the uniformly distributed stainless steel fibre network that is created during the casting stage.
Fiberstone precast pieces are put through a series of curing procedures, which extracts the moisture from the material. This results in an extremely dense composite material that exhibits therefractoriness of ceramics with the toughness imparted by metallic fibre reinforcement.
Each Fiberstone piece is produced within the UK, adhering to strict ISO requirements and internal quality controls, providing customers with complete assurance.
